In this picture we can see the destruction of a car next to the airport as a result of the airstrike at the Baghdad Airport.

Since the beginning of the new decade there has been a lot of mayhem around Trump’s attack in Iran. People are afraid and worried, looking for the truth of what happened. In a statement Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, “…the airstrikes disrupted an imminent attack for the Americans in the region.” Since the airstrikes, Americans have been told to leave the region since there is a possibility that we could get attacked.

At the Baghdad International Airport, On January 3rd, 2020, there was a drone mission to kill the top general Qassem Soleimani that Trump ordered. This started an insane amount of rumors and theories to be told. The next day the Trump Administration and the Pentagon admitted that they ordered this attack. This came after more controversy over the embassy in Iraq and the imminent attack that Soleimani imposed.

In response to this attack, the Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei, announced an attack on Iraqi military bases in which American troops were housed. The attack occurred on January 8th, 2020. No casualties occurred, but left some troops injured.

As a final response to this, Trump sanctioned the Iranian economy, stating that it was enough of their criminal regime and that the world should come together against Iran.
